My Style

My style is soft and balanced and I love understanding and playing good composition. I am a natural light photographer which basically means that I have spent a lot of time learning through study and experience understanding the best place to stand to make you look the best :D I occasionally use flash and like to get creative with angles and lens selection. Experience

I. love. cameras. I love knowing the ins and outs of the technical and artistic aspects of photography and I've learned alot over the past 4 years. I love looking through a camera with a nice lens attached to it. I love to help create and capture a moment when real love is expressed, when a dad who hates pictures embraces his children with genuine care, when two people who know and love eachother forget that a camera is there. These candid moments are the most genuine and my favorite to capture.

My Values

photos are only of value because of the subjects. and that is you and your family and all of God's creation. And this beauty and value of creation points perfectly to our creator who formed each of us. I am a broken and sinful man who is Forgiven by Christ and His sacrifice and I pray that is reflected in my personal life but also professionally in the quality of my work and the way that I treat every person I interact with, flawed as I am. That being said, the work that I choose to do in photography can never be at the expense of my faith and what I believe to be biblical.
